El Identificador Global de Activos Retornables (GRAI, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) es una de las dos Llaves de Identificaci\u00f3n GS1 para activos. Esta Llave GS1 es especialmente adecuada para la gesti\u00f3n de los elementos reutilizables de transporte, equipo de transporte y herramientas; puede identificar estos activos retornables por tipo y si es necesario tambi\u00e9n de forma individual para el seguimiento y la clasificaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En los procesos de distribuci\u00f3n, los activos retornables son utilizados por las empresas para empaquetar, proteger y transportar los productos f\u00edsicos, y se vuelven a utilizar para m\u00faltiples entregas, por ejemplo: jaulas, bandejas de pan, estibas y hasta barriles de cerveza. Activos retornables pueden ser de propiedad de cualquiera de los socios comerciales, o se pueden alquilar a trav\u00e9s de un sistema en el que las empresas colaboren en el uso de estos activos.<\/p>\n
