El N\u00famero Global de Identificaci\u00f3n de Consignatario puede ser utilizado por las compa\u00f1\u00edas para identificar un env\u00edo compuesto por una o m\u00e1s unidades de log\u00edstica que est\u00e1n destinados a ser transportados juntos.<\/p>\n

Las unidades log\u00edsticas en un env\u00edo en particular pueden estar asociados con diferentes GINC\u2019s durante las diversas etapas de transporte; por ejemplo, si el traslado se consolida con otros env\u00edos durante su viaje, y se desconsolida de nuevo antes de que llegue al destinatario. El GINC permite a aduanas y proveedores de transporte realizar un seguimiento de las unidades log\u00edsticas que se transportan juntos.<\/p>\n
